- Musical background
- Self taught. Began playing Drums at 10 years old in 2001, switched to Guitar at 11 years old in 2002. Didn't get serious about guitar playing until I was 13 after being influenced by pop-punk bands. Started my own punk band (similar to Pennywise, The Unseen and old Offspring) when I was 14 and lasted 3 years (2004-JAN 2008). Began gigging locally when I was 16. Was influenced by bands like Children of Bodom, In Flames and Arch Enemy at 16 and decided to stop my current band in January 2008 and go in a different direction. Began writing my own melodic metal compositions for the majority of 2008 and formed a band but things were going ever so slow. Auditioned for Voyager in late 2008 when I was 17. Put a stop to my new band after being accepted into Voyager.
